Musicians
My own kids, Michael and Sophia, taught me to photograph musicians. Light, texture, and the calm before a performance.

Featured work
Away from client work, I photograph what I love: character, patina, and light. The same eye that keeps bees, works wood, and welds steel goes into every frame here, and into every session I shoot for you.

The photographer
I was born in the former Yugoslavia, spent my adult years in Germany, then brought my family to Saskatoon. I am a proud father to Michael and Sophia, both gifted musicians and my steadiest supporters. Nothing matters more to me than they do.
I started photography in grade seven and have had a passion for it ever since. It is my creative outlet, the craft that lets me express what words cannot.
Away from the camera I keep bees, hunt, work wood, and weld steel. That love of nature paired with rustic material runs through my photography: natural light, shapes, and a respect for things made to last.
I have been with Nikon since my first camera, an F4s 35mm film body. I shoot mirrorless now, but the care I put into every frame has not changed. Bring me your story and I will give it that same care.
Work with MichaelIn their words
Michael made our daughter feel like the only person in the world. The graduation photos brought me to tears.
We are not photogenic people, and somehow these are the best pictures we have ever taken together. An afternoon in Saskatoon that felt effortless.
Calm, patient, and genuinely tuned in. He caught our son mid-laugh with his cello, and that frame now hangs in our hall.
